After all the progress I made the previous weeks, I remade my concept and here is the new logo that I made:
This logo is based on the sacred geometric symbol for water. This is all I did for last week, so I combined that post with this week’s post. This week I made the postcard for this new concept. There are many explorations, so here are a few:

At first, the final renditions didn’t have the text “Samarinda” on it. After QC, it was suggested to add the text so that it was clear, it’s for Samarinda. The pictures inside the jewels are vectorised images of Samarinda and the jewels were beveled (Photoshop) and given a flare on the edge. So this was my take on a geometric jewel, contrasted with a more curved background. The colors are derived from jewels as well (amethyst, amber and emerald).
