Introduction to Animation Techniques

This is what we learnt today in class:

Interactive and Non-interactive animations:

Interactive animation  is now widely used, this type of animation responds to the viewer/user. Games are a good example of interactive animation. This type of animation involves a little bit of coding.

Non-interactive animations are common as well and does not respond to the user. These types of animations are usually films and involve no coding.

Base artworks can be made in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for starters.

For 2D animations, a classic is Adobe Flash and AfterEffects.

Cinema 4D is used for modelling.
