How to color correct:

  1. Duplicate the background layer: Screen Shot 2016-06-15 at 9.06.30 PM.png
  2. Adjust levels by clicking auto

  4. Play with lighting, hue and saturation until you get the desired effect:

Coloring Black and White Images:

How to color B&W images:

  1. Duplicate background layer
  2. Change picture settings from grayscale to RGBScreen Shot 2016-06-15 at 10.59.10 PM.png
  3. Choose the brush (shortcut B)
  4. Use Quickmask and brush over the layers that you want colored – when there is excess space selected, press “x” and brush over the excess to erase that section (the result will be red on selected area)point on quickmask.png
  5. Click the quickmask again and select>invert (command+shift+I on Mac)selected area (skin).png
  6. Choose the lasso tool and refine edges if needed
  7. Create adjustment layer and choose solid colorselect lips and other parts of pic.png
  8. Use a blending option that suits the picture and the color will appear nicelysolid color, change the blending options to make better colors.png
  9. Go over each part individually and finish the edit
